# Introduction

Welcome to the official documentation of the plugin **FAQ for SEO** (`HuebertSeoFaq`) by Hubyte for Shopware 6.

## What does this plugin do?

With this plugin you maintain frequently asked questions (FAQ) centrally in the administration and output them in a search-engine-friendly way: as a dedicated **FAQ overview page** (e.g. `https://your-domain.com/faq`), with **its own URL and meta data per question** and as a **shopping experience element** on category and product pages.

All FAQ pages are added to the **sitemap** automatically and marked up with **schema.org (`FAQPage`)** structured data, so your questions and answers can appear directly in the search results.

### Key features

* **FAQ groups** – group questions by topic, sort them, enable/disable them and assign them to a sales channel
* **Own URL per question** – every question gets a speaking URL (e.g. `/faq/how-long-does-shipping-take`) with its own meta title, meta description and keywords
* **Answer editor** – bold, links, colours, lists etc. directly in the administration; existing HTML is preserved
* **Only for category/product** – groups that should only appear in shopping experiences (e.g. product FAQ), without their own FAQ pages
* **Shopping experience element** – embed an FAQ group on category, product or landing pages
* **Schema.org & sitemap** – structured data (`FAQPage`) and sitemap entries are generated automatically
* **CSV import & export** – maintain questions and answers via CSV file, incl. a preview of the file format
* **Layout options** – icon pair for expanding/collapsing, two-column layout, own headline and description
